In the middle of the road (2020-2023)

These film photographs were shot during dislocations. It's a reflexion on my journey as an expat photographer, represented by the wanderer and the struggles found along the way when you step forward an unknown destination.​ The title came from the poem "No meio do caminho" (1928) by the Brazilian writer Carlos Drummond de Andrade and the painting "Wanderer above the sea of fog" (1818) by Caspar David Friedrich was an inspiration for this series.
