  • How would you describe your style?
I describe myself as Daylight Environmental Photographer. I have a passion for analog photos and my editing style is inspired by film photography. I believe it brings a nostalgic feeling when you look at the images. During the sessions, I constantly talk to my clients in order to capture natural and candid moments. To understand my style better, please check the Portrait page or the Journal.
  • Do you photograph events like birthdays, weddings, parties, concerts, etc?
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to assist with large group photos, I only photograph groups of maximum 5 people. I’m an introverted person and I get overwhelmed when I have to interact with too many people. I only shoot photo sessions because I like to interact with the person in front of my lenses, so I can get the best image of him/her.
  • "I’m camera-shy but I would like to have some professional photos of me or me and my family, is that a problem?"
I know most people don’t know how to pose or feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, so I’ll try my best to make you feel relaxed and enjoy the experience because I believe it makes a difference on the final result. Click here to read a post I wrote about lifestyle photography and you can have a better idea of how I work.
  • Are we going to meet before the session?
Sure! All my packages include a meeting before the photoshoot. We can meet at a cafe, at your home or make a video call to discuss all the details about your session, such as location and outfits. This meeting also allows me to get to know you better and break the ice during the session.
  • What should I wear to a photoshoot?
Ultimately, the shoot should reflect who you are, but keep in mind it’s important that you stand out, not your clothes. I highly recommend that you avoid logos, big patterns and vibrant colors. Remember that less is more when it comes to photos. Choose interesting items that are nice to look at and add something to the images, rather than take away. Shoes that are comfortable for you to move around in, like flats and boots are totally recommended. We’ll talk about all these details during our meeting before the session.
  • Do you bring props for the session?
No, I don’t work with props. I usually go to the client’s home for the lifestyle session, so I can use what is available on location for the compositions.
  • Do I have to choose the photos that will be edited?
I'll make a pre-selection of the best photos and send them to you. After receiving the link by email, you'll have 2 business days to do the photo selection. If you don't want to choose the photos, I’ll do all the work for you.
  • Can I have all the unedited photos you took during the session?
I never deliver any image that is incomplete. Selecting the best images and editing is part of my job, and that’s why you are investing in it. You'll receive only the photos where nobody is blinking or making weird faces, or out of focus images I may have taken. Editing will be restricted to lighting, colors, contrast and skin treatment.
  • How and how soon will I receive the photos?
Your photos will be delivered in high-resolution to you via Google Photos. A preview will be sent within 2 business days of the session, and the rest of the session within 5 to 10 business days (depending on the package). Once the retouched images are completed, you will be contacted via email with your gallery link. After receiving the photos, I highly recommend that you save the files in your computer and/or your preferred cloud storage.
  • How can I pay for the service?
A non-refundable fee of € 30 is charged at the time of booking to secure your spot on my calendar. I will send you a Tikkie link after our first talk, so you can pay the retainer to book your date. Or you can pay by cash if we meet before the session. The remaining value is due immediately following your shoot before I depart. No images will be delivered until the final payment is made.
